Empagliflozin is an anti-diabetic medicine. Empagliflozin is mainly used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It causes a reduction in of reabsorption of filtered glucose.  It helps in reducing the glucose level in the blood of patients suffering from type 2 diabetes.
